SLU has employed two PhD students for the DELIGHT project, who have now taken up their PhD research studies. Tobias Leichtle holds a Master in Geospatial Technologies from the Karl-Franzens University of Graz. He started his PhD contract at SLU on 1st May 2013 and will work in the context of urbanization and water resources for major cities in the Yellow River Delta. Christian Wohlfart holds a Master in Global Change Ecology from the University of Bayreuth and is with SLU since June 1st 2013. In his PhD study he will focus on remote sensing based analyses of the dynamics of land ecosystems within the delta region.
