Brockmann Consult GmbH

Brockmann Consult (BC) is a private company, founded by Dr Carsten Brockmann in 1999, and offering scientific consultancy and environmental informatics services. The company is situated in the Geesthacht Innovations and Technology Centre (GITZ), close to the city of Hamburg, Germany. It has presently 28 employees including environmental scientists, physicists and software engineers with long year experience in scientific consultancy and service provision, software development and project management. Most of the work carried out is project based, with over 100 projects since 1999, with most involving International Partners.

BC has two inter-dependent sections, offering services and products in the areas of Geo-Information and Environmental Informatics, and which in summary involve:

• Complex processing chains for satellite data
